The pageant in its virtual format for the first time ever, has launched a nationwide hunt effective 5th October 2020 to select representatives each from the 28 states and a representative from Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir besides a collective representative from the Union Territories making for a total of 31 finalists. The selection process of these finalists will entail an online registration process inviting specific audition task submission on the Roposo App. An internal screening process, which will include experts and panelists, will select the 31 finalists.
These shortlisted finalists will undergo rigorous training and grooming and will be mentored by none other than the former beauty queen and actress Neha Dhupia. Subsequently the girls will be further shortlisted and will arrive in Mumbai to compete for the coveted crown at the Grand Finale in the month of February 2021.
Talking about the pageant with pride and passion, Neha Dhupia said, “Each year as the journey of Femina Miss India begins, it brings back all the memories of the priceless experiences I’ve had with this pageant. It’s almost like re-living every moment of my journey with these young glamorous girls who are so full of enthusiasm and capability to take on the world with power and elegance. OCI card holders are also eligible for runner up positions

I was delighted to be a part of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council Bloggers Event. The recently held “Healthy Living with Palm Oil” event held at Sunville Banquets on 30th September was a one of a kind event.
The event was bollywood themed. Yes, everyone including me dressed as Bollywood characters. I chose to be Dr. Mili – Sonam Kapoor from the movie Khoobsurat.
Once settled down, we were presented with a lot of benefits of using palm oil by two amazing personalities: Dr Bhavna Shah – Country Representative India and Sri Lanka – Malaysian Palm Oil Council and Mr Sandeep Bhan – COO of Sime Darby Oils, Part of Sime Darby Plantation, the biggest producer of sustainable Palm Oil. He has been in the industry for more than last 23 years, worked in various countries.
I myself learnt a lot of facts and benefits and the wide use of this oil. A few of them are
Palm oil is a great substitute for the regular oils as Palm oil is one of the least expensive and most popular oils worldwide. It is used in the production of almost all goods, be it a clothing item or a food commodity : it would have had palm oil as a part of its manufacturing process.
Then, began the most interesting part of the event which everyone was looking forward to : The Food Hunt. In teams, we were given clue cards and were to find restaurants and complete activities there.
The first step was at Baraanaa Bar where we put on a blindfold and had to guess the dish and it’s ingredients (palm oil, corn flour, salt, oil and coriander).
Followed by a quiz on palm oil, its features and its benefits at The Game.
Following the clues, we reached Light House Café where there was a salad making contest using ingredients like palm oil, lettuce, carrot, corn, tomatoes and olives.
Last but not the least, they conducted a food relay in which each team member ran to get the ingredients to make a sweet dish : ice cream, biscuits made in palm oil, Nutella and Ferrero rocher chocolate.
We had great fun in the food hunt. Later, we had a Bollywood Session where everyone had to say a dialogue of the character in which they had dressed on the stage and the event concluded on a very happy note!

I shopped the semi stitched material from Peachmode.com. They delivered it within a week right at my doorstep and then my stylist worked his magic all over it! Pairing it with an embroidered purse and some jewellery, The outfit was perfect for a wedding function.
